After enjoying an extensive Real Estate Career beginning in 1990 until 2017, I decided to move to Palm Springs, CA from Chicago, IL. I grew up on Chicago's North Shore, in Glencoe, IL, and lived between Glencoe and Chicago's Gold Coast for over 64 years and then decided that it was time to follow my dream of living in the Palm Springs, CA area. I have now lived in California for almost 6 years and have a 34+ years of real estate sales, with a background in Property Casualty Insurance and being a Mortgage Broker. I also hold a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago Campus.
With the allure of being so close to Beverly Hills, CA and since Beverly Hills has the same feeling as Chicago's North Shore, I decided that it was time to begin my foray in selling real estate, not only in the Desert - the Coachella Valley - Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Mountain Center and Idyllwild, but to follow my dream of selling in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Malibu, Calabasas, Sherman Oaks, etc.
So, I decided to join Rodeo Realty (Luxury Real Estate Regent Member) - a longtime established Brand in Beverly Hills, CA - and fortunately, they hired me. The great thing is that I can assist potential buyers of residential and commercial properties in both locations. I like to think of it as "One Stop Shopping" instead of having my clients have to share their personal information with a myriad of brokers throughout Southern California.
I have had the good fortune of visiting Europe three times in my life. The first time was just after graduating from high school in the summer of 1970, I was a member of the AIFS and spent 4 weeks studying at L'Universite D'Aix in Aix-en-Provence , France, with weekend excursions to Chamonix and took the gondola up to the Aiguille du Midi at Mont Blanc and had the best Fondue in Chamonix, a weekend in Marseilles and had the best bouillabaisse and sailed to Chateau D'If where the Count of Monte Cristo was held captive, and then a weekend in Cannes and St. Tropez. The trip began with several days in London, then Paris and after the university experience, a train ride to Rome. There were students from throughout the US on the trip and I was lucky to meet Danna and Debbie Blocker - from Beverly Hills, CA - fraternal twins of the famous actor Dan Blocker - Hoss Cartwright, on Bonanza!
The second trip was with my father in 1972 and it was a trip to the Costa Del Sol, staying at a resort in Fuengirola with visits to Malaga and Torremelinos and a day trip to La Ronda.
My third trip, summer of 2001, was with my late husband Frank Kiesel (we had a wonderful 22 year relationship - our dream was to live in California one day). It was a 12 day cruise on Princess Cruise Lines and began in Istanbul and sailed to Barcelona. We visited Ephesus, Athens, Venice - overnight, Monaco, the Isle of Capri for lunch - we found a non-tourist restaurant overlooking the west coast of the island and then on to Florence for a magnificent lunch there before heading to Barcelona.
We also enjoyed several other cruises, our first, 1996, was aboard the QEII that sailed from New York to Bermuda. We had the 2 story Queen Mary Suite - above the pilot house at the front of the ship, with bedchamber, stairway up to the living room, lanai and outdoor terrace. It was fabulous!
I'm only mentioning these trips to show that I do have a familiarity of locations outside of the US.
I would love the opportunity of assisting your clients with their real estate needs here in Southern California. Thank you for your consideration and have a Great Day!
Sincerely,
